The Mendocino Medical Marijuana Advisory Board (MMMAB) is a community based non-partisan policy body whose purpose is to develop a comprehensive educational approach to Medical Marijuana Policy, integrating all related health and safety issues under California law.

The MMMAB, formed April 5, 2006, is a county-wide coalition of diverse constituencies and differing points of view, including law enforcement, public officials, policy specialists, health professionals, cannabis patients, doctors and primary caregivers - working together to research and recommend policy guidelines and goals, including new medical findings, current litigation and potential legislation.

The intent is one of mutual respect between neighbors; to avoid adversarial positions, to treat others as one would like to be treated; to keep an open mind; and be willing to cooperate with neighbors with a goal of creating a safe and healthy neighborhood environment.
